What was the biggest challenge before you used Boardingware at your school?

We had a lot of paper systems that were time consuming and often did not share information as quickly as we needed information shared. It often created communication gaps that were difficult to fix while trying to do other things simultaneously.

What was the process of getting started with Boardingware like?

It was incredibly user friendly. The trainings were easy to understand and easy to schedule. I cannot imagine an easier way to get started. The entire Boardingware team ensured that all of my questions were answered. The chat function is incredibly useful during the beginning stages as well.

What has the success/support team at Boardingware been like to work with?

Incredible. I always get quick answers and helpful information. They also are consistent about communicating when updates are happening to ensure a smooth transition.

What was it like to get the rest of your team up and running with Boardingware?

The Boardingware training made it incredibly easy to get my team on the same page. We all had to be flexible at the beginning as we had to learn how our former systems worked with Boardingware, but after the first month we all felt extremely comfortable with utilizing Boardingware. When I asked my team if we should continue to use Boardingware next year, it was a unanimous and enthusiastic, Yes!

What has allowed you to be so successful with Boardingware?

The ease of use and the support staff have really helped to ensure success.

Has there been a particular Boardingware feature that has helped you the most?

Empowering all adults with a digital platform to instantly update information about student location has increased our ability to know where students are. This has been the most helpful in terms of increasing communication and capacity.

What would you say to other schools looking to implement Boardingware at their school?

I would highly recommend it. A graduate school classmate of mine is planning to implement it in his school and I have spoken to other connections of mine who all can see the benefit of using Boardingware.

What made you choose Boardingware over the other options out there?

The support team and particularly Marc Rauckhorst were so helpful in ensuring I understood all of the ins and outs of Boardingware before making my final decision. They also communicated effectively, but were not overly pushy. I also felt like Marc really made an effort to get to know my school and help me understand how Boardingware could increase our capacity to serve our students.

Is there any final thoughts or words you would like to share?

I am extremely thankful and appreciative of the entire support team at Boardingware for always being there for me and my team at Sem!
